Can’t believe I’ve been sleeping on this. Chain Cult manages to pull off this exquisite fusion of melody, emotion, and aggression that calls to mind the earlier releases of Hüsker Dü. Easily one of my new favorites to come out of today’s dark post-punk scene.

Falls somewhere between Warsaw and Joy Division. The guitar effects remind me of Bauhaus and JD but the vocals are more punk. They have a newer 7" coming in August 2018.
